Positions include, but are not limited to:
- Line Leader – Responsible for leading a group of children from class to class
- Sidekick – Working one on one with a child that needs extra assistance
- Food Team – Arranging, delivering and/or serving volunteers meals
- Refresh Team – Refresh is our parent/caregiver program. Volunteers on this team work to create those environments and activities as well as interact with the parents.
Team Leaders
Team leaders at Out of Zion are responsible for overseeing one class for the duration of the program. We offer classes in drama, dance, choir, instruments, and arts & crafts. Typically, a team of two-three volunteers shares the responsibility of creating and teaching a lesson with the goal of imparting that craft/talent. Team leaders also work with their class on their portion of the Shine show.
Team leaders need to be available for all training and session dates. Attendance is key in being able to prepare the lessons as well as provide consistency for the children.
Apply Now to be a Team Leader HERE.
